Da Terra Praca Bom Successo Boavista Porto 27th April 2019
Da Terra has several locations and this was in a market hall in Porto and having walked past to check out what was on offer, we were certainly tempted.
Da Terra offer a buffet style lunch with clear allergen labelling, with a long queue when we arrived, always a good sign, so we grabbed a tray, cutlery and napkin and joined the queue.
The choice included roast vegetables, quiche, rice, seitan in a cream sauce, different salads, bread, olive tapenade and more, so we filled our plates. The food was scrumptious, so fresh and delicious and just the ticket on a hot sunny day. We could not resist ordering a slice of almond and chocolate tart each, which were huge so we shared one and took the other back to the ship. The tart was chocolate heaven, with a lovely creamy filling and the crunch of nuts, it was fantastic.
I loved Da Terra, we had a chat with the guy running the place, who was so friendly and helpful and as we will visiting Portugal again next year, Da Terra is definitely on the list to revisit. Highly recommended.
