The menu is concise, with a specials board over the kitchen opening, but I imagine this keeps the quality of the food consistent.
I chose a veggie sandwich and Steven chose smoked tofu tartare with aubergine and orange cream sauce, with a portion of sweet potato fries to share.
This is seriously good cooking, one of the best sandwiches I have eaten in a long time and Steven was impressed with his main course, we polished off every morsel. We loved the beautiful tea pots our teas were delivered in, they were heavy cast iron and kept the tea really hot.
I was too full for dessert, but Steven could not resist the raw cake to finish, though I managed to steal a spoonful, though he was reluctant to let me, it was that delicious.
Ao 26 Vegan Food Project should be on everyone's to visit list when in Lisbon, it is top notch, so I went to the kitchen opening and had a chat with chef and told him how wonderful we thought it was. Highly recommended.
