I love the interior with a chilled atmosphere and a roaring wood burning stove, to warm us up on a freezing cold Wednesday lunchtime.
The menu is short and concise, with a few specials, but I like that, I am always wary of places with a huge menu choice. The menu appears to change periodically, as the menu below is different to the one on their Facebook page.
I chose falafel wrap with chips and Steven sweet and sour tofu served with rice and kimchi and mugs of Earl Grey tea with oat milk.
The food is freshly made and Steven gave a big thumbs up, to one of best tofu dishes he has eaten out and all for £5 and my wrap and chips was spot on too. We ordered a second mug of tea, as I spotted a vegan Victoria sponge cake in the display cabinet and as tea and cake is a match made in heaven, who could resist. The sponge was fantastic, so light and moist, with a lovely vegan buttercream and raspberries in the middle, it was scrumptious.
I was impressed with One Sixty and would definitely return to see what else is on the menu, the sponge cake alone is enough for me to want to see what other vegan cakes they can offer.
